Each surf lesson is approximately 2-1/2 hours. We will meet at one of the two local surf shops where you will rent your equipment (expect to pay about $35 for a wetsuit and board for half a day). Our instructor will walk you through the process to make sure you are getting the appropriate equipment. We will then drive to Westhaven Beach Park for a shore side discussion on etiquette and primer on paddling and catching waves. Then we head to the water and surf! The prep and land-lesson typically takes about 1/2 an hour, so expect to be wet for 2 hours.

Beach Boot Camp is a minimum 1-1/4 hour class held 4 times per week. Classes meet at Westport Light State Park (at the beach end of Ocean Avenue). Classes are held Saturdays at 7:30 AM and Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 6:30 AM.
